Testimonials

I have taken 4 classes with Terri this year. I learned more than I thought possible from these sessions. Terri provides amazing visuals that make her classes engaging. She uses a lot of hands on learning, like real insulin needles to practice injections. Terri's passion shows in every class she teaches. She always has new ideas to help make caregivers and residents lives easier. She recently started teaching classes from her beautiful home in Camas. She provides a very comfortable learning environment. I would highly recommend taking a class with Terri.

I recommend Terri to anyone. When I was in need of continuing education classes, I found her on the internet. I had called 5 other people and she was the only one to respond. She worked with me several days and even taught classes on a weekend for me. She truly is amazing to learn from.

I drove hours and hundreds of miles from Eastern Washington to take the 4 Hours Adult Education Class to be able to teach Mental and Dementia Health.  While driving to Camas, WA, I told myself I hope it was worth my time.  Well, folks, it was WORTH the long one-day round trip!  Terri was not only personable but very passionate about what she teaches. The learning environment was comfortable and that set a positive tone for me. Terri's teaching style is engaging, yet comfortable.  Terri reaffirmed in me that teaching style, knowledge, student engagement at their level, personal experiences, skills, and humility are important tools a person who teaches must have. The fact that Terri acknowledges the important roles NARs, HCA, and CNAs play in the care of patients -- that woman has my respect and heartfelt thank-you.  I highly recommend to anyone who has to take classes for license requirements to give Terri Brandley a call.

Terri Brandley opened our eyes to how important it is to have businesses & communities being mindful of dementia and it's presence in our world 😲🌎

She has a beautiful home base where she is able to teach people about dementia and assisting professionals in obtaining education for various fields. Terri does most of her good works out in the community teaching.

Terri has chosen to utilize all of her years of experience to work with business owners to create spaces safe and helpful to folks with dementia. Continuing to create overall awareness and preparedness for changing community dynamics.

Here are a couple ideas we covered for business owners:

~Helping businesses understand how to help in practical ways such as employees/owners being trained to assist people with dementia by approaching clearly from the front and moving to the side to give safe space.

~having a certification program with a sticker in the window letting people know of the training/education they received.

~Placement of mirrors and flow that effects the experience of some living with dementia.

~Many more ideas and resources are available at www.ltced.org and Terri can be booked there as well.

Ways Terri can help you:

~Providing business consulting, training and education for business owners to create environments fit for our friends with dementia.

~State certified CE(Continued Education) hours for individuals & organizations seeking training/education.
